What we collect
Only what each case needs:
- Browsing: our own visit statistics are aggregated (pages viewed, country, type of device) and do not use cookies.
- Google Analytics: usage information (pages viewed, device, approximate location), using cookies. If you visit from Europe, it only runs if you accept. You can turn it off at any time from “Cookies” in the footer, and we honor your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal.
- Server logs: IP address, date, requested page and browser, recorded by the server for security and to fix errors.
- Emails you send to vitmusiccorp@gmail.com: your address and what you write, so we can reply.
What we use it for and on what basis
- To keep the site secure and working. Basis: the owner’s legitimate interest.
- To understand in aggregate how the site is used. Basis: legitimate interest; in Europe, your consent.
- To answer your questions and booking requests. Basis: your request and, where applicable, the pre-contractual relationship.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Server logs are overwritten on a rolling basis and kept for the minimum time needed for security.
- Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.
Where it is stored and who processes it
The site and its own statistics are hosted on a server run by Contabo GmbH in Germany, so your information is processed outside Ecuador and possibly outside the country where you live, with the safeguards required by the LOPDP.
Google Analytics sends usage data to Google, which processes it on its servers, including in the United States.
Emails you send us are received in Gmail, which Google provides as our email service.
If you play a video, YouTube loads (in privacy-enhanced mode) and, from then on, Google processes data under its own policy. The same applies when you follow links to external platforms.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification and updating, deletion, objection, portability and suspension of processing at any time by writing to vitmusiccorp@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy”. We will reply within the time limits set by the LOPDP.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with Ecuador’s Superintendency of Personal Data Protection. If you live in the United States or elsewhere, the law where you live may give you additional rights; we will honor them where they apply.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to measure visits. If you visit from Europe, they are only set if you accept. You can turn them off at any time from “Cookies” in the footer or with your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal. When you play a video, YouTube may also store information in your browser.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. It has no sign-up or subscription forms.
